While Capricorn makes payment to the
Supplier, the supply of goods or services is still
directly between the Preferred Supplier and
the Member.
Capricorn will make payment to the Preferred
Supplier provided the trading terms agreed
with Capricorn are adhered to. This includes
the goods ordered by a Member are received
by the Member with proof of purchase and
delivery.
By making payment to the Preferred Supplier
Capricorn does not interfere with any
warranties or other obligations that may have
been agreed between the Preferred Supplier
and the Member or that may apply by law. The
Member should deal directly with the Preferred
Supplier should a dispute as to the quality of
goods or services supplied arise because the
Supplier owes the Member warranties or other
obligations.
In some situations Capricorn does try to assist
Members and Preferred Suppliers resolve
disputes because it has an active relationship
with both.
