What sports do you play ?
I run , spin , play tennis , squash and swim . RAF College Cranwell also has a Polo Club and being an avid horse-rider in the past , I completed a foundation course and intermediate course and now regularly play in the Spring and Summer months at Leadenham Polo Club . Other colleagues play golf for the RAF and travel to Bruggen every year to compete .
Do you have any hobbies ?
Yes , I ’ m a real film buff . I love running , polo , reading , culture including the theatre , arts and travel . Whilst posted at RAF Waddington I joined the RAF Waddington Voluntary Band and was able to play my flute and piccolo at Formal Dinners , the Freedom of Lincoln Parade and several Remembrance Services and Concerts .
How does the RAF support these hobbies ?
Daily . Promotes a healthy work-life balance . It encouraged personnel to stay fit regularly . Force Development and learning more about our history and teambonding is encouraged to promote a better understanding of the environment we work in and a more harmonious workplace .
