Future Leaders Scavenger Hunt
Well done to classes 4E , 4F and 4G who completed our picture scavenger hunt challenge on May 11th . Congratulations to our winners Niamh Hayes , Eve Heslin , Vivienne Dowd , Teigan McGonagle and Martha McCormack . The challenge was organised by some of our students as part of their TY Future Leaders modules and run again for classes 4A - 4D . MEC Alumni Scholarships
Among the recipients to receive DCU Academic Scholarships on 14th April were three MEC students . Congratulations to former students James Flaherty and Sorcha Walsh ( Faculty of Science and Health ) and Aoife McDonagh ( Gradam Fiontar agus Scoil na Gaeilge ) Congratulations to all and we wish you all well in your future studies . Congratulations to Ana McGinley and Kathryn Duff from our class of 2020 who also received Trinity College entrance awards .
MEC PTA Sponsorship
MECPTA were delighted to support the recently held stepathon and solo competations which were part of the MEC Future Leaders programme during lockdown III . Wellbeing
Thank you to Enda Murphy for facilitating the Emotional Wellbeing Workshops for Fifth and Sixth Year students as well as a parents workshop . Enda is a psychotherapist and works with young adults on a daily basis . He is a published author of 2 books ' Managing the Screenager and ' Five ' Steps to Happiness '.
