U14 Boys Historic Win
A huge congrats to our under 14s boys who won their Dublin A final on the 11 th of
December 2019 against a very strong Ard Scoil Ris team in Abbotstown, Dublin.
The boys had won their Dublin A semi final against Colaiste Eoin in UCD on Wednesday 20 th
November. The team finished strongly against a very good Colaiste Eoin team to get over the line
with a final score of 4-11 to 4-8.
This Dublin A victory has been made even sweeter by the fact that it is the very first time in the
history of both schools that we have won the Dublin A at this level. Boys from Maynooth, Kilcock,
Rathcoffey, Cappagh and Blackhall Gaels all contributed massively to the cause to topple the Dublin
school.
The final score was 3-9 to 3-6. The lads now have a Leinster semi final to look forward to against
St. Mels, Longford in the next few weeks. Thanks to Mr McNulty and Mr Dunne who have put in a
lot of work with the lads to get them to this point!
The team has been a great source of pride for the school community this year and we wish them all
the best in their Leinster campaign.
