Risk
The new $10.9 billion Melbourne Metro Rail Project aims
to deliver new train lines, tunnels and future proofing of the
Melbourne Metro Rail systems.
Based on an extensive cost-benefit analysis, community
impact analysis, and commuter demand forecasting, the
Melbourne Metro Rail Project will provide new
infrastructure at the heart of the rail network, connect the
existing lines, and trigger transformation of the broader
public transport network.
MBM is part of a Peer Review Group engaged to work with
the delivery team to independently, critically and
constructively review the work undertaken and
assumptions made and advise the client of observations
and suggested ways forward in a number of project areas.
MBM’s key focus is the cost plan and risk, particularly the
risk estimate.
