Board Meeting Minutes
Motion was made by Julia Northwick , seconded by Karson Duncanson , to approve the 2024 Queen ’ s Contest Incentives . Motion carried unanimously .
The Royalty Clinic will be held Saturday , April 13 th at the Chaska American Legion . The Royalty Banquet will be held Friday , August 16 th with the location to be determined . Bridget is working with Rachel to get all of the royalty forms updated . Bridget reminded everyone in attendance to share the Queen ’ s Contest with their own Club Queens .
Rulebook : Cindy Ladd
Cindy shared her chosen Rulebook committee for approval . Glen Strube , Paul Hansen , Lynn-Ellen St . Martin and Sandy Strube is the presented committee .
Motion made by Karson Duncanson , seconded by Lori Taylor to approve the 2024 Rulebook Committee as presented . Motion carried unanimously .
Cindy is working with 2 rule petitions .
Safety Committee : Corey Swartout Absent . Nothing to report .
Scholarship : Julie Gintner
The scholarship application form is on the website as well as in the spotlight . The deadline for application is May 1 st , 2024 . Julie asked that those in attendance share the scholarship program with those they know attending school .
Old Business :
2024 Banquet Planning : Julia presented a banquet budget for approval . The banquet will be held Saturday , October 26 th at the Monticello Community Center . There will be a block of hotel rooms reserved for those traveling . The agenda for the event will be 3 pm General Meeting , 4:30-6 pm social hour , 6 pm dinner , and 7pm awards followed by entertainment .
Motion was made by Lori Taylor , seconded by Steve Bobzin to approve the budget for the 2024 WSCA Banquet . Motion carried unanimously .
New Business :
The 2025 Champ Show will not be able to be held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds , due to a remodel of the coliseum . The champ show committee will be working closely with MN 4H , as they are affected by this outcome as well .
Adjournment : Motion made by Karson Duncanson , seconded by Paul Hansen to adjourn the meeting at 12:05pm . Motion carried unanimously .
