NATIONAL SKILLED NURSING CARE WEEK
THE STONE PEAR PAVILION CELEBRATES NSNCW ! The Stone Pear Pavilion will be celebrating National Skilled Nursing Care Week beginning on May 10th through the 14th with this year ’ s national theme : “ Together Through the Seasons ”. Established by the American health Care Association in 1967 , the week provides an opportunity to recognize the role of skilled nursing care centers , it ’ s care workers and residents .
Now that some of the pandemic restrictions have relaxed , the Stone Pear Pavilion is preparing for a long awaited “ Spring Break ”! We ’ ll be bringing some of the most desired destinations to the Stone Pear and have daily activities celebrating our facility , our residents and staff .
We ’ ll begin Monday with our Outback Kick-Off Picnic . Tuesday we will visit Europe for funnel cakes and explore our artistic talents with the likes of Van Gogh and Rembrandt . Wednesday we ’ re headed to the islands of Hawaii with a Luau in the Courtyard . Thursday is fun in the sun on Cancun with sandcastle building , a game of Squirt Ball and a Water Bucket Relay . Friday we ’ re kicking back on the Florida beaches with sno cones , stories and bubbles . Monday through Friday staff will have a chance to win our daily gift card giveaways !
