ARMED FORCES DAY

In honor of Armed Forces Day , The residents at The Orchards of East Liverpool , Rehab TRAVELING Suites and THE the WORLD Pepperberry Suites will be signing cards to send overseas to help cheer up our military personnel !

Although , originally , there were single day celebrations for the Army , Navy and Air Force ; this format changed on August 21 , 1949 , when Secretary of Defense Louis Johnson announced the creation of Armed Forces Day . Stemming from the unification of the Armed Forces under the Department of Defense , the annual celebration now commemorates all branches of the military during one solitary day .

The first official Armed Forces Day took place on May 20 , 1950 , and was themed “ Teamed for Defense .”

HONORING OUR LADIES TEA The Orchards of East Liverpool , Pepperberry Suites and Peachtree Inn will be celebrating Mother ’ s Day with a Ladies Tea ! Our ladies will enjoy social time while enjoying hot or cold tea and fruit salad . Soft music will play in the background as the ladies enjoy their time together .

The Orchards of East Liverpool will hold their Tea time on Friday , May 7th at 2:30 P . M .

The Pepperberry Suites will enjoy their Ladies Tea at 2:30 P . M . in the dining room to honor our Mothers .

The Peachtree Inn will celebrate on Monday , May 10th at 11:30 A . M . in the dining room .
