Smiles by Shannon
On February 3 , PDA member Dr . Jennifer Shannon hosted her fourth annual GKAS event at her office , Smiles by Shannon Dental in Harrisburg , where they saw 34 children , ranging from ages 1-17 years old .
Dr . Shannon ’ s office provided examinations , radiographs , prophylaxis and fluoride treatments . In order to screen as many children as possible , any restorative work that was required was rescheduled for another day .
The “ Clown Around Town ” stopped by for a few hours to entertain the children and their families in the lobby . The office had an ASL interpreter for a family with hearing impaired guardians , and two professional whitening kits were donated by Regina Branca with Glo Science Professional that were raffled off for the parents or guardians to take home that day .
Dr . Shannon plans on hosting another GKAS day , possibly as soon as this summer .
