Let’ s Connect South Ayrshire Newsletter Issue 8 Spring 2026
We all have mental health. It’ s about our thoughts, feelings and emotions, and behaviours and mood. When our thinking and our feelings start to negatively impact how we cope and how we live our everyday life we might be experiencing a mental health problem. 1 in 4 people in Scotland will experience a mental health problem at any one time.
Let’ s Connect aims to increase mental health knowledge and skills across South Ayrshire by delivering mental health workshop sessions to children and young people and the adults around them. These are fully funded by South Ayrshire Council so free to local schools, community groups, youth groups, and parent groups. Our workshops have information and advice around: Mental health and wellbeing Stress and anxiety Low mood and depression Self-care The 5 ways to better wellbeing Body image Social media Study and exam stress Listening to and supporting my child
We deliver workshops to schools, community groups and parent groups.
