British Council International School Award
Marr College has achieved Intermediate level of the British Council’ s International School Award, recognising our commitment to international education and global awareness. This reflects a wide range of fantastic work across the school, including partnerships with French schools, interdisciplinary learning through music, multilingual sports activities, international travel to Spain, and pupil-led events celebrating European languages and cultures. A huge well done to the Modern Languages on a great achievement.
S3 V & A Art Trip Written by Miss McCallum
In February, S3 Art & Design pupils enjoyed a highly successful educational visit to the V & A in Dundee. Pupils explored the Garden Futures exhibition, engaging thoughtfully with ideas around nature, sustainability, and contemporary design. The visit concluded with an inspiring design workshop where pupils created Met
Gala – inspired outfit concepts, drawing directly from the exhibition themes. Pupils demonstrated excellent creativity, enthusiasm, and teamwork throughout the day, and the experience has already had a positive impact on their ongoing design work back in the classroom. Thanks to the Art team for organising and leading the trip.
