Netball

A netball club was set up at the start of this session at Marr College , the first in over 20 years . For many this was the first time they had played netball . Due to the commitment from the girls , an S3 / 4 netball team was entered into the Ayrshire league . The girls played very well at both home and away games and did a fantastic job representing the school . Throughout the league , they won 3 out of their 6 games . The girls finished 4th in the league with some very unlucky defeats along the way . They should all be very proud of what they have achieved this year .
At the end of the season we had ‘ Netball Awards ’ to celebrate the hard work and success of all the girls . The girls who attended netball voted for the most deserving player for each of the categories below and the winners are as follows :
