Mark your calendar for Spring Fling
January ’ s Social Sunday marked Charbonneau ’ s first ever storytelling event . The new vintage popcorn maker was fired up , spiced apple cider bubbled the crockpot and a lovely group of
BRENNER neighbors met together to share snacks , wine and true tales from their lives that have spanned many decades and took place in multiple states . It was a wonderful time , with neighbors brand new to Charbonneau and those who had been in the community for 20-plus years . The most prolific storyteller that day was Korean War veteran Keith Weir of French Prairie Condos , who is 91 years young . His most exciting tale was a spicy love story that featured a pair of red-hot pants ! A progressive round robin happened where each attendee told a different and unique story about a car . There is interest in a regular storytelling club , so stay tuned for more .
