WASD KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION WEEK SCHEDULED
The Williamsport Area School District ’ s kindergarten and new student registration week is scheduled for March 18th - 22nd .
Children must be age 5 on or before September 1 , 2024 , in order to enroll . All registrations for the 2024-2025 school year will occur from 8:30 a . m . to 3:30 p . m . at the District Service Center , 2780 West Fourth Street . Registration will be handled alphabetically by last name , according to the following schedule :
• Monday , March 18 : A-F
• Tuesday , March 19 : G-L
• Wednesday , March 20 : M-S
• Thursday , March 21 : T-Z
• Friday , March 22 : Open A-Z
All students will be assigned to their home area school as long as they are registered by June 7th . Parents may begin to register online to complete the process in as little as 15 minutes between March 18th and 22nd for the in-person registration by going to https :// registration . wasd . org . Whether registered in advanced or on the scheduled date , all supporting documentation must be brought to ensure registration can be completed . Required documentation is the child ’ s birth certificate , guardian identification ( driver ’ s license , state ID , etc .), proof of residence , child ’ s immunization records to-date , and Record of School-Age Dental Examination and Medical Examination , if completed .
