Rise to the challenge with Maple Grove Days competitions

The Top 10 Classic Car Show Saturday, July 19, is just one of the competitions taking place during Maple Grove Days.
Many competitions during Maple Grove Days are open and available for children, youth, seniors, men and women. During Maple Grove Days, July 16-20, people are sure to find an event that is just their style.
Crafty clues and determined searchers will race against the clock in the ever-popular Medallion Hunt. The worthy prize of $ 500 will be awarded to the first who uncovers the hidden“ leaf.” To claim the prize, the winner must have purchased a Maple Grove Days Button, available at the Maple Grove Community Center or from an Ambassador candidate. The prize is awarded Saturday, July 19. Need not be present that day to win.
Maple Grove Days also offers more competitions and tournaments throughout the weekend.
Sign up for the Pickleball Tournament happening Friday, July 18, starting at 8 a. m. at Lakeview Knolls Park, 9391 Fernbrook Lane. Mens, womens and mixed doubles in all skill divisions( 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 +) will be available this year. In each division, teams will play in round robin pool play and all teams will advance to a single-elimination bracket. Medals are awarded to the top three teams in every division. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. There is a fee. Register by July 12.
Outdoor fun can be found at the Junior Golf Tournament held at Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center on Friday morning, July 18, from 8:30 to 11 a. m. Boys and girls ages 8 to 17 who reside in Maple Grove or Osseo are invited to participate. There is a fee. Register by July 14.
Bound over to Weaver Lake Park for the Capture the Flag event on July 18, from 3 to 5 p. m. Teams are formed on arrival. Wear appropriate shoes and bring water. This event is
