On September 7 , Della Icenhower Intermediate School had their 20th anniversary community carnival to celebrate all past alumni and current students . The carnival took place between 10 a . m . and 1 p . m ., with student performances , face painting , photo booths , and vendors .
Timberview High School ’ s very own Zairiyah Watson was the only high school intern selected by Senator Ted Cruz ’ s office . The internship program offers Texas students a unique opportunity to experience first-hand inner workings of Congress .
