On Tuesday , August 27 , students from across the district joined together at the Performing Arts Center Auditorium to celebrate summer graduates .
Chef David Roberson ( left ) and Chef Jacquelyn Baker-Roberson ( right ) won the Chef Tim Kelly Award for Educator Excellence on July 14 at the 2024 Texas Restaurant Show in San Antonio , Texas .
Students across the district participated in the 600-minute Summer Reading Challenge and received certificates when they returned back to school .
The Summit Sapphires visited Annette Perry Elementary School to help students with the audition process of their dance team , The Falcon Dancers .
Pictured are five out of the six outstanding Mansfield ISD students who have achieved semifinalist status in the National Merit Scholarship Program . This honor is awarded to less than 1 % of high school students nationwide based on top PSAT scores . The students being recognized are Kaitlyn Ferguson , Kaden Nguyen , Lizeth Calderon , Christopher Do , Emma Fenton , and Andrew Yacenda .
