LOL. The creole version sounds much
better. It's amazing how our
nicknames are born, most often from
the silliest of things.
So what was life like growing up in
St. Lucia, in Praslin?
The best thing about growing up in
Praslin, was having my family’s love,
respect, support and unity that I have
been blessed with. My family values,
our faith in God and the teachings that
I’ve learned from church, has positively
shaped me to become the person that I
am today.
Growing up in a small community like
Praslin, was lovely for me because we all
lived like one big happy family. Back
then, growing up in St. Lucia, children
did not have to worry so much about all
those senseless crimes and robberies
that are currently affecting some areas
of St. Lucia.
Every little kid has a dream of
becoming "something" when they grow
up, what did you want to be?
As a child, I wanted to become a police
officer, and I did accomplish that.
Dreams do come true when we actively
pursue them. So now you’re an
international singing artiste. Did you
ever dream of becoming an artiste? At
what age did you start singing?
I started singing in church with my
brothers at eight years old.
