and Sora have demonstrated this well, as they use their skill and wisdom to overcome their physical weakness. Over all, I would rate this anime a 10/10. It is definitely one of the most notable anime of the year and you should be watching!

Guilty Crown

Guilty Crown takes place in Tokyo, 2039. The series occurs after the outbreak of a fatal virus in what is known as the ‘Lost Christmas’. Japan is now under the control of a multinational organization known as the GHQ. They were originally sent to help Japan, but now have become a military dictator. They practically have the authority to kill an entire city as long as they find a way to blame it on the virus. The protagonist, Ouma Shu, is a very shy high school student. He met a beautiful girl named Inori one day, and that changed everything. He got affiliated with a rebel group called ‘Funeral Parlor’ after saving the life of Inori and was given the power to use people’s hearts. This anime is a very psychological anime; it also has a lot of action, and focuses on romance as well. It will definitely remind you of Code Geass (it is a Must Watch Anime), but some things are done well in Guilty Crown which makes it worth watching. First of all, it has a lot more fast paced action. It also develops characters well. I just love how they turned Shu from a shy little boy, into a dictator. Near the middle he reminded me of Hitler a bit too much. But I also like how in the end, his character learns to grow up. Another great thing, this anime actually has a distinct ending where you know what happened. Sure, the ending may have been a bit rushed, but it is better than not having one at all ‘Shaman King’. But overall, I really loved this anime, and if you like psychological anime, then this is definitely the anime for you!
