London to Amsterdam in less than four hours by train
Company Eurostar began its direct link from London St Pancras to Amsterdam adding to its portfolio of destinations.
Two daily journeys will take passengers through Brussels and Rotterdam before arriving in the capital city. The journey will take just over three and a half hour and will be a popular choice for those favouring land transport to air. The company hopes it will make them more competitive against airlines with one way tickets going for as low £35.
“As the Netherlands grows in popularity as a key business and tourism hub, the potential for the new service and the overall market is significant,” Eurostar said in a statement.
