Bryant elaborates : “ When I worked for the farm in Massachusetts , I was directly involved in their community-supported agriculture program for over a decade , and we did a farmers market every week . From the beginning of when I took over Tall Cat Coffee , I ’ ve been at the Dorset Farmers Market basically every Sunday .”

By consistently bringing her delicious coffee to the farmers market , Bryant was able to forge deep connections with her customers . Over time , she built bonds with them that became stronger and richer than the taste of her boldest brews . “ I feel more connected as a community member here because of my business ,” notes Bryant . “ That ’ s incredibly gratifying for me . The business has made me a living here , but I truly feel like I ’ m at home .” Bryant says that the Dorset Farmers Market also provides her with a much-needed break from her business and allows her to get positive , in-person feedback from her customers . “ I work alone at the roaster all week long . Every Sunday , I get to interact with people who are enjoying my products . It ’ s a great feeling . I get little thank you notes and Christmas presents , and it ’ s really nice .”
Bryant adds that she is proud to be able to make a positive environmental impact by selling her coffee to local shops and at the Dorset Farmers Market . “ It ’ s an environmentallysustainable business model . By selling my coffee face-to-face to customers in my community , I can both cut back on shipping costs and offset the ecological impact of my roasting operation . It ’ s great to be able to make that kind of positive impact on a global scale while
