Market Potential
Born and raised in Northern Vermont , Bryant moved to Dorset in 2014 . Before arriving in Dorset , Bryant oversaw the management of an independent , educational communitysupported agriculture ( CSA ) farm , The Farm School , in the nearby Pioneer Valley in Western Massachusetts for over a decade . In 2016 , Bryant purchased Tall Cat Coffee from a friend who was moving away from Dorset . At the time , the roasting business was still in its nascent stages , and Bryant was also working as a fly fishing guide . “ I grew tired of the instability ,” says Bryant . “ I wanted to run my own business and find a steady source of income that would allow me to better provide for my family . I always loved coffee , so it was a natural fit for me . I like to think that people tend to find success in the fields that they ’ re most passionate about .”
Although the prospect of running a coffee roasting operation by herself was certainly intimidating , Bryant seized the opportunity to unite her
