The self-proclaimed Team Value led by Waj have also had a great year. Adopting a team spirit similar to that of the Chirps last year, these boys have roamed the Midlands picking up points every Saturday – their only loss coming on the first day of the MRHA season. Points today meant the club’s first promotion of the year was confirmed! Well done to all you boys who have been part of that team this year. Your promotion is a great way to end the season!
With regards the social side of things you’ve already heard from Eeyore and Vod so I won’t go over all of that again. To be honest after the antics of some other clubs, it’s just a huge relief to have successfully babysat Vod for a full 2 terms without any major issues or injuries. So that I am quite proud of.
What I would like to do is make a few thank yous, beginning with a very close friend. Despite his best efforts to ruin the club photo, sever all ties with Altoria and insult everyone on their sexual activities, Kenji has been a huge help to me through this year, and a major asset to the club. Few people can honestly say they contribute as much to this club as him and without his
help and advice this year I would have genuinely found conducting my role impossible. As he moves on into life after the club, he leaves behind some tough boots to fill. Good luck Jello!
Next a major thank you to all the boys who made up the Exec this year. While at the start of the year our meetings seemed rather fractious, I genuinely believe we developed a lot over the year and went on to achieve some really great things for the club. We paid Kali, enough said.
