More Gradual Trail to East Pinnacle : Indian Fort Trail to Lower East-West Trail ( 3.6 miles , 600 feet elevation change , Intermediate ).
Two Vistas : Main Trailhead to East Pinnacle to Indian Fort Lookout and back via Indian Fort Trail to Lower East-West Trail to Upper East West Trail ( 3.4 miles , approximately 800 feet elevation change , Intermediate ).
Challenging Loop Hike : Counterclockwise East- West loop trail from Main Trailhead to East Pinnacle ,
then Indian Fort , then West Pinnacle , and back ( 5.5 miles , approximately 1,000 feet elevation , Difficult ).
A Word of Caution about West Pinnacle :
While West Pinnacle offers spectacular views , the final ascent involves a short , exposed rock climb . While experienced climbers may find this manageable , it is not recommended for everyone , particularly children , due to the potential risk of falls . East Pinnacle and Indian Fort Lookout often provide equally stunning views with less risk .
