Boone ’ s Trace National

Boone ’ s Trace National Golf Club , formerly known as The Bull , is a picturesque 18-hole course on a bluff above the Kentucky River . There are a lot of elevation changes with hills , valleys and a couple of par 3s over

water where the tees are 30 to 50 feet above the green . The lush fairways and challenging greens makes for a great day on the golf course , regardless of your score . The scenery alone is worth the price of playing this course , and for a bonus you may see a fox or deer run across the fairway .

Gibson Bay Owned and operated by the City of Richmond , Gibson Bay Golf Course is considered one of the top

municipal courses in the state .

It is a beautiful course with rolling hills , undulating greens and several shots over water .

In addition to the main course , there is a driving range , two putting greens and a nine-hole short course to sharpen your short game and give children a head start in golf .

The facility is open to the public and it has received numerous awards for its value and customer service .

Madison County Club

The oldest golf facility in the county is the ninehole course at the Madison Country Club .

Originally called the Richmond Golf Club when it opened in 1922 , the name was changed 20 years later .

The MCC course is hilly with small , bent grass greens and a creek running through the middle that you cross five times . It is a fun and challenging layout .

The club is semi-private , but visitors are welcome .
