Pedal Installation
To continue assembling your M2S electric bike, you will need to install the pedals. Here are the steps to follow:
1) Check your pedals on the end of the threaded bolt section of the pedal and find where they are marked with an "L" or "R," indicating which crank arm they need to be installed on.
2) Grease the threads of your pedals before installing them. This will ensure that the pedals are easy to remove in the future.
3) Line up the threads of the pedal with the crank arm, and hand tighten the pedal to make sure that you are lining up the threads correctly. If they do not thread in easily do not force it as this can cause the crank arms to become stripped and damaged, which will require them to be replaced. The pedals should thread easily into the crank arm.
4) Use an allen wrench or a crescent wrench to tighten the pedal securely into place.
5) Repeat steps 3-4 for the other pedal.
