This document provides the research and knowledge to back up the reasons for bringing LunaPads to India, but the most important part to a business plan is the implementation and the steps to get the company where it needs to be.

A key step to this implementation plan is to conduct another round of research, after the market and target audience research is complete, is to find the right profile of woman to be the brands’ LunaWarriors. The company will hire a local research firm to conduct focus groups within our target regions to determine the type of women we can target to become our brand ambassadors and sales women. We will be looking for women who have an entrepreneurial spirit, who are well known in their community, who won’t be held back by the stigma of menstruation and sanitary products. We need influential women to be the face of our brand, and finding these women before we actually enter the market will be a defining factor to LunaPad’s success in India.
At this point and time, it is also necessary to start shopping for office space in an easy access location in New Delhi to be the base of Lunapad’s Indian operations. The requirements include a large area for training and meetings with the support staff, room for storing inventory and promotional materials, an office space for the manager as well as desk space for the other staff.
2 Months
Since our Canadian manager has been preparing for this day for a while, she will be ready to move to India for the launch of this venture, and to facilitate the set up of the sales office. She will conduct the training and hiring for the support staff who will be attending the Luna parties to aid the LunaWarriors. She will receive all the starting inventory from the Canadian manufacturing and prepare it for the test parties in a few months. These first few months will be dedicated to dealing with any unforeseen events with the government or logistical problems. The local support staff needs to be trained on sales techniques, which they will in turn teach the LunaWarriors. They also need to be well versed in the company goals and values so they can offer emotional support as well to all our sales women. They will also be in charge of distributing the products to the women’s homes and making sure they have all the resources they need to host parties, and convince the customers that Lunapads are the best option for them.
