The company has a bright past and a brilliant future . Leardo Ravaioli , the founder , set the groundwork for a path of success , focusing on the production of artistic lighting and historical cast iron poles . In 2015 , after a long time at the helm of the company , Leardo handed it over to his son Cristiano , who accepted it with enthusiasm and opened a new chapter in the company ’ s history . Cristiano has led Ghisamestieri towards a renewed identity . The rebranding in 2020 was a turning point that set tradition , design and performance as the guiding values of the company . It involved also the choice of the new name GMR Enlights , which fully reflects the commitment to modern , high-performance lighting that is , however , based on experience and history . Cristiano Ravaioli , as the new CEO , has dedicated himself to further developing the heritage of excellence created by his father , while at the same time enhancing innovation and sustainable development . His strategic approach is based on research into modern industrial processes and new technologies to create lighting that meets the current and future needs of communities , in harmony with the ecosystem in which they live . One of the features of the new GMR Enlights is the focus on sustainability .
