Panzeri looks forward and focuses on research For a 2020 full of novelties Overcoming the stalemate, relaunching the challenge: Panzeri has taken advantage of these months of standstill to prepare for the relaunch, starting with a significant renewal of the collections. With four new families of indoor and outdoor lamps and numerous additions to the existing ranges, Panzeri rethinks the future of technical and decorative lighting under the sign of research and openness to the contribution of designers and architects, for whom Panzeri is a trusted partner. “To remain competitive, there is an urgent need for renewal and growth, also from a creative point of view,” says Federico Panzeri, General Sales Manager. “Collaborating with talented designers such as Matteo Thun, Matteo Italia or Christian Burtolf, has allowed us to explore the world of decoration from a new point of view, applying our technical expertise to flexible projects that are helping us to reposition ourselves towards the world of contract.” The collaboration with Matteo Thun, which began in 2019 with the Tubino and Firefly in the Sky series, now gives life to VENEXIA, a new outdoor collection inspired by the lagoon atmospheres and Murano glass. Evocative of the transparency of water, it proposes essential shapes, mirroring the shapes of the wooden “briccole” that punctuate the Venetian canals. On the recessed luminaires front, the new MARK series by Matteo Italia - Italia and Partners combines the decorative element with the architectural one, thanks to the finishing rectangular frame that allows for refined combinations with the interior design of spaces. Enzo Panzeri’s research, on the other hand, gave birth to ARENA, a ring available in three sizes that combines a soft diffusion along the line of light with the concentrated beams of the adjustable spots, offering high visual comfort and flexibility in the configuration of different scenarios. As for the range of profiles, the KIPS series, also designed by Enzo Panzeri, offers a very thin LED strip in opal white silicone that draws a luminous line that is only 6 mm thick, with linear and curved elements that can be combined with each other. These four new series, which embrace both the decorative and the architectural, are joined by the new products conceived for existing families, such as BELLA, designed by Enzo Panzeri, now available also in the wall version with a base and enriched by the lampshade accessory designed by Matteo Thun, and TUBINO, once again by Thun, now available also in the pendant version. Further configuration options are also available for the GINEVRA ceiling version by Christian Burtolf, thanks to the introduction of the dynamic white technology, as well as for ZERO ROUND ACOUSTIC, an extension of the Zero Round line by Enzo Panzeri, which improves acoustic comfort thanks to an innovative PET material that can significantly reduce reverberation through its generous surfaces. Finally, 2020 will see the launch of a new retail partnership with the Australian company Luxxbox, a specialist in sound-absorbing lighting solutions such as the Birdcage and Vaporecho suspensions sold throughout Europe by Panzeri. For Federico Panzeri, a “partnership” is also a strategic alliance with other companies in different but similar fields, such as the one started with Listone Giordano: “We have signed a partnership agreement not only to share an exhibition space, L’Arena Listone Giordano in via Santa Cecilia/via San Damiano in Milan, but also to create a place for relationships, a place in which dialogue with the client and the designer can take place. Here we will stage, as soon as possible, a rich programme of events dedicated to the world of design, together with Listone Giordano and other companies, such as Vaselli for stone, Matteo Brioni for raw earth, and Blueside for borosilicate glass.” The objective: to successfully convey the value and intrinsic quality of Panzeri solutions in a language that is not only technical but also contemporary.
