times a week and buy the freshest
possible food, just down from the
farm. I was eating it mostly raw,
making giant salads and also at
that time I was eating fish. I was
having wild fish whenever possible
but I read in articles in the paper
that it was hard to get wild fish
and I was a little concerned about
that. But this was all prior to
Fukushima and the Gulf incident.
More and more, I was eating
the freshest possible fruits and
vegetables, some whole grains,
nuts and seeds, brown rice, that
was about it. I was also exercising
everyday. I am not a spiritual or
religious person but I believe in
helping people and I saw pretty
much right away that my energy
level was higher than everyone
else. They were all going through
chemo, they were going through
radiation and were exhausted. They
were hairless, they were just sick
in every possible way and I wasn’t.
My energy was going toward - let’s
do a walk together, maybe do yoga.
I was researching information for
myself and I realized fairly early
on that people who were doing
conventional treatment could
benefit from the same kinds of
things that I was doing. It seemed
to me that everybody would
benefit if they ate more fruits
