Oddly enough, my uncle had had lung cancer and died two year before. I was in charge of his health but I didn’t know anything. The doctor told me, your uncle’s going to die in a few months if he doesn’t have chemo and radiation. I have to give him chemo and radiation immediately and he got chemo and radiation and he died pretty much right away – three weeks. His wife was pregnant. It was a really horrible situation. I remembered that as well. A lot of things were going on my mind at the time and I had slow growing early stage cancer so for me, where was chemo going? What am I going to do? I started to think about what I might do. I joined a support group which was great and I highly recommend it.
