Back then though it
was like following every
recipe. Just keep it simple!
That’s what I would tell
myself. Put food in your
mouth. You don’t have
to be a gourmet chef. If
you are a gourmet chef,
then that’s awesome.
Another thing that I
would like to stress is
I share custody of my
three older daughters
with my ex-husband and
his wife and I made their
lives hell for a couple of
years over food. They
just have different beliefs
about than I do and so
what I want to say to
other parents who are
maybe new into the paleo
lifestyle or not even new
but still struggling with
other people in their lives
who don’t understand it
and maybe they’re dealing
with children and they’ve
got a partner who doesn’t,
let go of the control. Let
it go. It is just stress in
your life that you don’t
need and it won’t get you
anywhere. When I finally
learned that lesson and I
let go, I have an amazing
co-parenting relationship
with their other parents
now. My children were
not benefiting from our
food fighting. Even though
they didn’t technically
know about it, they knew
