dark and cool. My kids
are not allowed to have
night-lights. They never
had them. There are no
digital clocks. There is
not a hint of light in
anybody’s bedroom at
night. Once the lights are
out, that’s it because it
really does mess with our
melatonin production and
our cortisol, if we don’t
have our rooms really
really dark and quiet. Now
I’m addicted to sleeping
like that. I’m addicted to
it being dark and quiet
and cool. But I need
to be warm too. I have
to have a really heavy
blanket. So whatever
works for you. When I
go travel and I sleep in
other places, it can get
really difficult. I don’t
sleep well when I travel.
AB: It’s also important to
have the right kind of bed
for your body as well.
KK: Oh yeah! I wish I
could be one of those
people who can sleep on
the floor. It would make
life so much easier but I
need my pillow hahahaha
AB: Actually because of
my profession, I have had
back problems all my life
and there is only one type
of mattress I can sleep
on and it makes my life
difficult when I get into
a relationship. My last
lady friend, for example,
I could not sleep in her
bed, I would get terrible
