Social media engagement increased across Facebook , Twitter , Instagram and LinkedIn . Facebook saw the most engagements , while the largest increase in followers was on Instagram .
After successfully bringing back the Specialty Speed Networking event for medical students last year , this year ’ s event saw a 33 % increase in attendance with 81 students and physicians .
We hosted our 10th Wear the White Coat program with 21 VIP participant-physician pairings .
The Richard Spear , MD , Memorial Essay Contest theme was “ If I Weren ’ t A Doctor , I ’ d Be A …” and asked members to reflect on possible alternate career paths . We had a record number of entries – 37 !
The average turnaround for initial MedCentral applications was 24.5 days , well ahead of our Med30 program ’ s 30-day goal .
MedCentral processed 536 initial credentialing applications and 1,554 reappointment applications . The error rate for reappointment applications was less than 4 %.

Our Practice Management department handled 30 hassles , recovering an average of $ 634 per hassle .
Our Insurance Credentialing department saved almost 4,000 hours of staff time and nearly $ 120,000 across providers . In February , we launched a new , state-of-the-art software featuring robust security measures , a client portal and a centralized document management system .
We had a 0.979 % member retention rate . This is the 6th consecutive year above the industry goal of 0.90 %.
