Abba Ashmeade receives his Young Tenant of the Year award y e r r u S d n a n o Lond news Calling all street property residents Are you living in a street property? Would you like to influence the service we deliver to you? A street property is a house or a small block of purpose built flats which are not on an estate or a flat within a converted house. We’re holding three Street Property Forums in London and Surrey in August. If you’d like to get involved or find out more then please call our London Resident Involvement Team on 0800 121 60 60. Homes for the future How should our future homes look? That was the hot topic of discussion at the Design Focus Group event in May at Grosvenor House, Croydon. Over 40 residents attended and we very much appreciated all the comments and feedback. These have now been sent to Ashton Freeman, our Senior Project Manager in Development.  - 0800 121 60 60   From winners to judges! Congratulations to Monica Barnes and Abba Ashmeade who’ve been invited on the judging panel for this year's national TPAS awards. TPAS England, is the leading national tenant involvement organisation working to promote tenant empowerment. This year, Janet Relf, one of our residents from Sussex, has been nominated for the Tenant of the Year award. Do you know a Community Star?! Is there a person in your community who really makes a difference? Someone who’s always putting others before themselves. A person who helps organise community events, makes improvements to the local area or simply helps out their neighbours without expecting anything in return? If the answer is ‘yes’, please enter them for the Dorn Moller award. Dorn Moller worked as an involved resident for many years before he died. This annual award, dedicated in his memory, remembers the spirit of community involvement that Dorn made an everyday feature of his life. It recognises the hard work of your local community champion.
