3.1.1 Social Media

The primary marketing method was social media; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. These methods were analysed, providing an insight into performance (Cisnero, 2016). The Facebook page was successful, reaching 43 countries and 45 cities. The page increasingly attracted engagement and Momentum Events boosted two posts; announcing the event and releasing the tickets. This appears to have been the right decision as these posts reached more people, raising awareness. The page likes also followed the same trend, surpassing the aim of 100 ‘likes’ to achieve 170. Twitter analytics additionally revealed positive momentum, gaining over 33.7 thousand impressions and 130 followers.
