Bookish Tiffany is a fairly new blogger to the scene, debuting her book blog this past summer.

Why did you start your blog?

I started my blog so I could receive galley books from http://Netgalley.com . When I signed up one of their requirements was that you had to have a site where you would be posting your review if you signed up as a reviewer.

What are you most looking forward to on your blogging journey?

I'm looking forward to getting to 100 followers. The blogging community on twitter is amazing and blog follow trains do help you especially if you're like me and need more engagement to be noticed by publishers for future reviews and arc copies.

What genres do you prefer reading?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves YA (young adult), it seems like it's a popular trend on bookstagram and book blogs. Within YA my favorite genres are contemporary, fantasy, and science fiction.

If you could ask your favorite author anything, who would you be asking & what would you be asking?

I would ask Victoria Aveyard, author of the Red Queen series how she came up with the plot for Red Queen. It just amazes me how much work she put into the world building especially with all the court family's and their abilities. Just the abilities themselves are out of this world.

What book or series got you into reading?

There's a few books that got me into reading as a child. I loved the Magic Tree House series and The Boxcar Children series.

Dreaming in Paperbacks

BOOKISH TIFFANY

Dreaming in Paperbacks is another new blogger who started her blog this summer.

Why did you start your blog?

Before I started my blog I spent about a month admiring the bookish side of Instagram. I realize I have a lot of books that I love, that I enjoy taking pictures, and that I wanted to be in on this community since I'm a writer and hope to work in publishing. So I made my own account, but I also realized I had a lot to say about books as well. I checked out other people's book blogs, and ever since I started college 4 years ago I've been into the idea of blogging but never felt I had anything important to say. So I said what the heck and went for it! And I'm so glad I did! Long story short, I did it for my love of books and writing.
