King and Queen Elijah was a quiet man. He’d just turned 30 years old last week. He was as much an introvert as anyone could be. He had a beard that went past his belly and hair that reached his lower back. His hair was matted and he constantly reeked of sweat. He did everything he could to avoid interacting with people. Not because he didn’t want to but every time he did speak to someone they’d look at him with disgust because of the way he looked. Elijah preferred to stay within the safety of his home as much as possible. Elijah was by no means an unattractive man nor was he a man with malicious intent towards anyone. He was in fact quite the catch with the ladies at one point in his life. The problem was he didn’t keep good care of himself. That was something he no longer could do because he didn’t love himself. Elijah had stopped loving himself after losing both of his parents. His mother a respected veterinarian had passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer when he was sixteen. Elijah’s father was a well-known Banker that had taken his life away with a single bullet to the head a week before Elijah’s eighteenth birthday. His father didn’t even bother to leave him a suicide note. Elijah had no one except for his family’s wealth, not a single friend or relative. He lived a cold lonely life. At one point he tried to keep a pet in an attempt to give his life meaning again but found it too hard because it reminded him of his late mother. 97
