hug. She told me she missed our little adventures and she wished we had more time to explore. After we exchanged a few talks, she handed me a yellow envelope that had my name and before I got to say anything back, she was gone. When I got home I opened the envelope and I found myself looking at a picture from when we were 8. In the back it had a note that said her true feelings of me. She loved me but the fact that I never talked to her again made her think I was not interested anymore. By the time I finished reading and went ov er to her house, she was gone. She had gotten accepted to NYU and her flight left the same night of graduation. I tried to contact her but she changed her number and I never heard from her again. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and tell her my true feelings, but we cannot change the past. Sometimes our willful actions come with consequences and we have to accept the fact that some will be tougher than others. I still love her up to today, every night I wish for her homecoming so I can treasure what I have before I lose my chance again. 96
