On Saturday, September 21, CCS hosted our Annual Celebration Banquet, the first fundraiser of the school year. Almost 130 guests joined together for a lovely time of food, fellowship and encouraging messages from students, parents and the school’s administration. This year’s focus was on the theme of investment.
Gabriel McCavanagh, a junior and first year CCS student, shared his testimony of how different (and wonderful!) a Christian school is compared to the public schools that he attended in the past. Freshman student, Mitchell Cannerella, shared how the entire CCS community rallied around him when he was going through the difficult challenge of losing his hair due to alopecia. CCS parents, Liz and Stephan Thibodeau, shared their experience of living in an area of the state with a desirable public school, yet still making the choice to invest in a CCS Christian education to align with their ultimate goals for their children. Lastly, Mrs. Tonya Snyder, our Head of School, shared how she has personally chosen to invest in CCS and encouraged others to do the same with their time, talent and resources.
If you would like to invest in CCS and help accomplish its mission to “engage and educate young people to know Christ and be equipped to impact the world for God’s Kingdom,” donations can be made through the school’s website under the “Support” tab. Investing in the lives of young people to know Christ and make an impact for His Kingdom is always a worthwhile investment!

OCTOBER 2019
Celebration Banquet
CCS is blessed with an active Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA). Each year the PTFA supports various projects and fundraising efforts that benefit the school’s overall program. Through these efforts, the PTFA is able to fund a variety of initiatives, such as speakers for Spiritual Emphasis Week, Teacher Appreciation luncheons, and the purchase of yearly theme T-shirts for every student and faculty member. Their first fundraising night occurred at Chipotle in Manchester on September 24. Families were encouraged to eat at the restaurant, and Chipotle donated a portion of the proceeds from the evening to the PTFA. CCS earned over $350! What a delicious way to support the PTFA and fellowship with friends at the same time!
