Celebration Banquet

For over 40 years, three generations of CCS families, friends, and partners have held unswervingly to our hope that God will faithfully strengthen us to fulfill our underlying mission and purpose “to engage and educate young people to know Christ and be equipped to impact the world for God's Kingdom” by “Teaching Truth, Training Minds, [and] Transforming Lives.” In celebration of God’s faithfulness, over 70 family, friends, and partners of CCS gathered on April 23 for fellowship, food, testimonials, and fun at The Hollow at Manchester Country Club (MCC).
We were blessed before and during our meal by musical accompaniment from Mrs. Julie Gray (CCS’s McLain building administrative assistant) on the keyboard, Christine Gray (CCS sophomore) on violin and by voice, Billy Gray (CCS senior) on guitar and by voice, and Jemille Joseph (CCS sophomore) by voice. The appetizers and dinner meal were prepared by The Hollow at MCC, with additional desserts being provided by Mrs, Joanna Alvarez (CCS alumna), Mrs. Bev Gayman (CCS parent), and Mrs. Tammy Choleva (CCS Director of Fundraising and Event Management). Interspersed throughout Mrs. Tonya Snyder’s (CCS’s head of school) presentation, we enjoyed reminders of God’s faithfulness by hearing testimonials from Dr. Joseph Kuruvilla (CCS parent), Gabe Pekari (CCS senior), and Abby Clark (CCS alumna).
The evening was rounded out with some added fun through drawings to determine the winners of a “Catchphrase Squares” game, as well as drawings for banquet sponsor gift baskets. Our banquet sponsors were Sardilli Insurance Agency; Windsor hairstylist Danielle Toal of Danielle Hair Haven, LLC; Hebron hairstylist Michelle Choleva of MIG a Hair Studio, LLC; and Manchester clinical and pastoral counselor Suzy Williams of The Light House. We are grateful for their partnership with us, which helped make our banquet a success!
