My Life: Angela Smith Continued

hard because I had teachers I hadn’t had before in Junior High and I had a lot more projects, tests, and homework that I had to complete. It was the fact that I also had to do semester tests, which in Junior High I didn’t have to do before. Semester tests stressed me out then and they still do now. I was able to get through my first year of high school and then I moved on to my second year of high school, sophomore year. Sophomore year went better than freshman year did because it was my second year of high school and I was used to it by then. Now I’m in my junior year of high school and it is coming to an end. In just a few months I will be a senior. In all of my years of school so far, I have been getting good grades. Throughout junior high and my three years of high school, I've been on the honor roll every year. It has been an accomplishment in my lifetime that I’m very proud of. There have been a lot of other accomplishments that I had in my lifetime. I completed Driver’s Ed in 9th grade; I completed Conformation and

got confirmed at the end of 8th grade. I also got my permit when I was 14 years old and I got my intermediate license when I was 16 years old. When I first started to drive when I got my permit, I was very scared. The thought of having to drive scared me, usually the thought of driving would be exciting but for me it wasn’t. I eventually got over my fear of driving after I completed Driver’s Ed. Today I’m a very safe and cautious driver, I always have been since the first day I started to drive. I love to drive now, I have driven to a lot of different places that I wouldn’t have been able to drive to before if I didn’t have my license. There have been a lot of positive things that have happened in my lifetime. My family and my friends have supported me throughout everything I have done and they are very

proud of me. I try to help others when I can and I’m a very kind and down to earth person, even though it may not seem like it because I’m shy and quiet. Today, I still like to play soccer and I try to help out others when they need help. I help out my parents by doing chores around the house and I watch my younger brother after school when both of my parents are at work. A few years ago, my family adopted two cats that my neighbor’s brother had. My neighbor’s brother had about six kittens and they let us choose which kittens we wanted to adopt. My cat, Lakers, is four years old and my brother’s cat, Packers is also four years old. I enjoy spending time with my family and going on family road trips during the summer. I also play basketball outside with my brother even though when I was younger, I broke my pinkie finger. I take one day at a time, and I’m blessed for each day I’m given because life is too short to not take chances.
