The orphanage was the dark filthy home of little Johnny. He had nothing to live for. No parents, no friends; he had absolutely nothing. The orphanage was run down and not well managed. Snow seeped in through the cracks of the windows, condensation built up along the walls, and mold grew in the ceiling. The one blanket Johnny had was thin as a piece of paper and didn’t even reach from his head to his toes.

Two giants in the cave of the mountains escaped. They were so eager to get away that they began wrestling each other. Every punch that was thrown created a powerful wind drift rolling through the foothills of the valley. But that didn’t stop them; they kept at it like ten year old boys. After a tough pin, one giant became furious and began chucking colossal sized snowballs at the other giant. Ducking and dodging every one, the giant ran down the mountain. His intention was to get away from his not so friendly wrestling partner to calm him down.

Little Johnny glanced out his window and noticed a shaggy mammoth digging through the garbage cans of the orphanage. Johnny had never seen anything like the giant before and was in complete awe.

In a matter of seconds, Johnny heard a deafening uproar coming from the caves of the mountain. Snow came crashing down the slopes faster than the speed of light. Little Johnny could no longer see the beast outside of his window. He could only see white. No buildings in sight, just plain crystal white snow. Johnny had no idea what had just happened. The village was destroyed. Johnny’s heart was crushed. His parents are gone and now there is nothing left to his village.
