overwhelming but I always try to remember that everyone had to start somewhere. In my experience everyone has been really friendly and happy to help if you need it.
4. What is your go-to song when you need that extra bit of motivation?
My go-to song to give me an extra boost is Steve Harley & Cockney rebel’ s version of Here Comes the Sun. It’ s one of those songs that just makes me happy and when I’ m out running and I’ m tired and really wanting to give in it cheers me up and helps me push through the pain.
5. What is your favourite exercise class / form of activity outside of your sport?
Outside of football I really enjoy running but recently I’ ve taken up BMX. Although, I’ m not very good yet so you won’ t see me at Kelvingrove any time soon.
6. If you decided to join a new GUSA club, what would be your top choice?
If I were to join a new GUSA club it would be Ultimate Frisbee, I’ ve played a few times and I’ ve really enjoyed it!
7. Who / what inspired you to get involved with sport at university?
I decided that I wanted to join a club this year so I went to a few taster sessions for different sports. After going to football I decided this was the sport I wanted to join. The girls in the club were all so friendly and welcoming. Football is a great sport but it’ s the girls in the club that make it what it is.
