1. What is your greatest achievement in sport?
Winning the Scottish Boat Race Women’ s Reserve 8 + with the novice girls in 2015.
2. How has being a part of a sport’ s club benefited your time at UofG?
Sports clubs and GUSA have made my university career, I can’ t imagine the last 4 years without them. Without GUBC and GUSWPC I would never have applied to be a GUSA helper and the rest is history.
3. What would you say to those who are new to sport / anxious about using the gym?
Everyone was new to a club or the gym at some point in their lives. Get involved, seek advice and you’ ll soon feel at home – if you’ re nervous tell someone and they will undoubtedly help you out. The GUSA Buddy Scheme is of course an amazing way to overcome anxiety about starting exercise.
