Day respite
Leuchie’s day respite service offers the chance for people in East Lothian and the surrounding area to join in with activities, physiotherapy and entertainment, providing a sociable break for local guests and giving carers a well-earned rest.
Carers welcome
Carers are also welcome at Leuchie, and there are three carers’ rooms available with the emphasis on relaxation with peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are being well looked after by expert nurses round the clock. We also encourage visitors during guests’ breaks.
Contacting guests
Mobile phone reception can vary at Leuchie House and guests are welcome to use the landline for calls. Carers are invited to contact Leuchie House during guests’ stay, but we ask carers to call after 9am and to avoid calling during mealtimes where possible.
