Arrivals and departures
Guests are asked to arrive after 11am for the start of their break, although other times can be accommodated by prior arrangement. Each guest will receive a pre-admission phone call before their stay to discuss their care needs. On their final day, we ask that guests depart by 12 noon. Guests are expected to provide their own transport, but we can usually accommodate requests for pick-ups from local stations if we are notified in advance.
Funding your stay
There are different ways of funding a stay at Leuchie and fee levels are dependent on individual care needs. Some guests are selffunding, others are assisted by their local authority. Full or partial funding may be available from your local authority as part of your care package or through self-directed support. You should speak to your social worker to discuss your entitlement to a respite break. If you have not had a social work assessment, contact your local authority social work department.
