NEW Spectacular Dinner
This make and dine class will begin with authentic French onion soup topped
with French bread covered in melted, golden brown Swiss cheese. Enjoy two
entrees: French pork tenderloin with apple brandy, and roast pork tenderloin
with a balsamic vinegar and raisin sauce. Round out the meal with glazed
parsnips with carrots, carrots sautéed in raspberry vinegar, a red onion confit
for color and accent, plus a golden potato tart. Dessert will be a chocolate
amaretto mousse garnished with creme fraiche. Take home all the recipes to
recreate this special menu at your next dinner party. A supply fee of $15 is
payable to the instructor in class. Bring a dishcloth/towel to class.

Make a pair of high-heel cupcakes,
buttercream hydrangeas, sunflowers,
and more. Learn some basic
techniques that work on larger cakes

Learn basic canning techniques based on University of Minnesota Extension
and Ball’s Blue Book Guide to Preserving. Instructors will cover the water
bath method, not pressure canning. Learn how to properly examine actual
canning equipment. This is not a hands-on cooking class; it is primarily
explanation and discussion. Taught by Washington County Master
