Celebrate your holiday by creating a handmade wool ornament perfect for embellishing your home, decorating your tree or even attach a pin to create a one-of-kind brooch. Beginners are welcome! All tools and supplies included. Textile Center Beginning Crochet Gift giving can be not only from your heart, but also from your hands once you have learned to crochet! Begin with a discussion of crochet styles, types and sizes of hooks, yarns/ threads, and how to read the yarn labels and crochet patterns. Then get started by learning 4-5 basic stitches while working on the class project, a scarf. Bring sizes G and I hooks, 300 yds main color of plain #4 (worsted weight) yarn, and 100 yards of plain #4 (worsted weight) yarn in a contrasting/complimentary color.
