And if you lay away for even just one hour each night , at the end of the year that totals 365 hours , which translates to 15 days of your life ! Tally that up over 25 years and you ’ ve lost an entire year counting sheep . In 2017 alone , sleep aids generated almost $ 70 billion worldwide , and that includes mattresses , eye sleep masks , pillows , sleep medications , sleep apnea devices , and so much more . Perhaps you have even bought a few of these items yourself , and the chances are very good of that since more than 50 % of adults say that they have experienced insomnia at some point in their lives . But before you spend money on any of those sleep aids and devices , why not rethink the place that should be a sanctuary for you , and finally give it the attention it deserves ?
